Awards are based on list traffic and number of subscribers.
The formula used is as follows:
Each list is assigned a 'total' which is the number of posts to the list
during the month plus half the number of subscribers (total = posts +
subscribers/2).
The lists are then sorted by their total. Each list is then assigned an
amount of prestige based on it's position in the list as follows:
General lists get 1-10 General.
Regional lists get 1-5 General and 0-5 Regional.
National level lists get 1-5 General and 0-5 National.
Obviously the busiest list with the most subscribers will get the maximum.
Slower lists will get less.
The prestige cap for list moderation is 20/month. For lists on servers other
than list.white-wolf.com, the cap is 10/month. This 10 is part of the
overall cap of 20.
