Great Lakes Regional Event 2006 GLaRE (January 5-8, Detroit, MI)

Motor City, Heavy Metal, Detroit Iron, the city of Ford, Chrysler, General Motors. Motown, The birthplace of Soul music, The Temptations, The Supremes, Rick James, Lionel Richie, The Funk Brothers, Marvin Gaye and so much more.

These are names and people all synonymous with an iconic city that has sat on the border between two nations. Detroit has long been a historically significant junction and crossing point for both the United States and Canada, and a key point in frontier trade and early national identity.

Begun in the early eighteenth century as a French trading post by Antoine de la Mothe, Sieur de Cadillac, Detroit has grown from a small outpost on the Detroit River to the city that stands today.

Now in 2006, the Great Lakes Region is proud to host a regional event in this city:

This is the first in a long line of Premier events scheduled by the Camarilla and White Wolf. So, please join us in Detroit January 5th – 8th and kick off the New Year in style, with a healthy helping of mystery and suspense!
