The Sichuan province of China is known for two things of supernatural note;

The Sichuan provice is the original home of The Wan Xian, or "one Thousand Immortals" a supernatural Cryptid species. While commonly referred to as "Chinese Demons" the Wan Xian are biological creatures who are born as members of their race (as opposed to being Embraced or turned later in life) in their natural form are taller cellulite than humans, with red, sunburnt looking skin and sporting red horns. The Wan Xian in their heyday spread throughout mainland China and a few neighbouring countries under the rule of thier "Demon Emperor". During the overthrow of the Demon Emperor, forces loyal to him known as the Gang of Six, fled overseas to Canada.

After a series of supernatural purges by both mortal demon hunters and Kindred native to the area, the Wan Xian are all but extinct.

The Sichuan province is home to a mystical anomaly known as a "Ban Nith", known to only exist in two other places globally; Northern Ireland and Dunnville, Ontario. The Ban Nith produces a Resonance of Occultation which infects local Ley Lines, making them appear to disappear entirely and become invisible to magical senses, and hindering magical powers which make use of them. In Sichuan, the Ban Nith is held in check my a magical artifact put there my local Mages for the express purpose of neutralizing it.
