15th Century

14th Century

  • 1300s - Requiem - In time, hatreds against Vadim Alekseeiev Rurik swelled and it became apparent that though he was quite feared, several of the Moscow Kindred were conspiring against him, and none could find evidence to fuel their conspiracies. Kindred slow as they are to act, culminated decades after his original purpose in coming to Moscow had fallen by the wayside and his usefulness was less to the Prince and the Prince allowed Vadim to operate independently instead of giving him the backing he deserved as the Hound. The Prince's betrayal was noted and shrugged off as Vadim chose instead to leave the Prince high and dry, and to let the Kindred of Moscow to return to plotting against one another and their Prince.

13th Century

  • 1220 - Requiem - Vadim Alekseeiev Rurik's return is greeted with mixed opinions; Kindred who had lived there for some time resented the slight celebrity that Vadim enjoyed and the open arms with which the Prince welcomed him, while some saw opportunity to include him in their machinations, others wished to pander to him and his celebrity. The detractors mostly remained silent and in their silence allowed him to once again resume his seat in Moscow under a different Prince, with those few who wished to please him and stand in his shadow helping him come to know the city's nuances and workings better all too willingly.
