Editor's Note: Rather than dividing a city's history up arbitrarily by century, the decision was made to divide a particular city's timeline according to the meaningful events and history of each location. As a result, most cities will have customized timelines. To use an American example, the history for Atlanta, GA (if Atlanta qualified as a Dark Place on the Map) would not be divided up into 18th Century and 19th Century, but into pre- and post-Civil War. That being said, the currents of history tend to carry most cities in the same direction, so there are several templates to choose from when adding your city to the wiki.
