These entities exist in the Camarilla Chronicle on an IC basis. It is Global Approval to gain merits such as status/allies/etc in these groups, unless otherwise specified in the write-up text.

There are some general guidelines on the idea of "in game companies" created and defined by players but with a wide ranging aspect (this is seperate from PC created companies/groups that are locally based, which do not fall under these guidelines):

• Such approvals are ultimately put in by Global staff and are therefore not linked to any PC. The player needs to define the company and provide a public write up.
• The company then exists within our chronicle. It is potentially open for any character from any venue to move to develop merits within the company.
• Such companies cannot be privately owned. They need to be public companies with trust management - so that while characters can develop strong influences and allies over the company they cannot own or directly run the business.
